You know what Ben Roethlisberger has done to the Steelers? Made it so a 12-4 season with a first round exit feels like a huge failure. Most teams are hoping to get there. People can trash the man all they want, only one franchise has more Super Bowl wins with one QB since 2004.

The Steelers have swapped Tyson Alualu for Isaiahh Loudermilk, T.J. Watt for Jamir Jones and Alex Highsmith for Derrek Tuszka. Can't for the life of me figure out why Joe Burrow had all that time in the pocket though. . .

So Kevin Stefanski had the best defense in the NFL, the DPOY, the CPOY at QB. . . Went .500 in the division and lost by the largest margin of this year's playoffs to a rookie QB. Ladies and Gentlemen, that's your 2024 coach of the year.

#Steelers gave up 34 sacks to teams not named the Browns. #Browns gave up 36 sacks to teams not named the Steelers. Head to head? Steelers sacked Mayfield 13 times. Browns sacked Roethlisberger 4 times. T.J. Watt had 5.5, Garrett had 1. And PFF says Dan Moore Jr. was terrible.

These routes have been beating the Steelers defense a lot this preseason. Joe Haden steps on the field and solves it. Also, if that ball is on target it's an interception. Perfectly timed by Haden.

I think Cameron Sutton has gone from underrated to overrated right now. He's a high quality #2 corner on a team that has several #2 corners. Steelers need a #1 corner, and Sutton isn't that guy. His versatility has a lot of value, but it still doesn't make him a #1 corner.

Bengals drives, yards gained. 3, 8, 4, 35, 38, 26, 5, -2(EoH), 2, 3, 3, 80, 16, 9. That's 8 drives under 10 yards gained, and 1 drive gained more than 40. That's this defense, they give up one long TD drive a game, and then give up points when the other team has a short field.

@BrettKollmann Week 2 of 2018, Steelers approach to Mahomes was keep him in the pocket, and take away Tyreke Hill. They did it. They trapped him in the pocket and they shut Hill down. Mahomes threw for 328 and 6 TDs that day. He was overrated for a hot minute, but not by much, he's elite.

@BrettKollmann 4.6 with nuanced route running beats the crap out of 4.3 who can't keep the CB's hands off him. And really, when they show those overlapping 40 film, the gap between a 4.3 and 4.6 is like an arm length after running in a straight line for 40 yards. That's not that big a deal.
