A great example that supports the FIP Think Health, Think Pharmacy campaign
We can't solve our primary care crisis and take pressures off of our ERs without appropriately supporting Canada's health-care providers. From physicians to nurses to #pharmacists and others, we need to ensure primary-care is accessible in our communities. Where have we seen some success? Pharmacist-led care in Nova Scotia contributed to a nearly 10% drop in ER visits:

Great to see our #ThinkHealthThinkPharmacy campaign being applied to specific disease areas such as diabetes. We need to continue to spread the message that #pharmacists have a role in the prevention & management of this condition: Need help with diabetes? Think pharmacist!
This weekend, pharmacy students from @EuropeanUniCy (an academic institutional member of FIP) took part in diabetes awareness-raising activities organised by the Cyprus Diabetic Association.
