How to get Ireland back on side. Let children in every sport train in small pods. Permit inter-county GAA. Open the golf courses. Let people travel within their own county. Allow family visits. Return construction work. Max out the vaccinations we receive every week. Simple.

GAA pitches hopping all over the country at the weekend with club action. RTÉ, who we’re all forced to fund, have no match reports, round-ups, reviews or reaction pieces. Inter-county only game in town, seemingly. No wonder there was never any balance on split season debates.

Tommy Tiernan would be completely wasted on the Late Late Show. He’s too good to be interviewing the latest RTE employee to appear on Dancing with the Stars #tommytiernanshow
