An excellent decision.
The United States will rejoin the Geneva Consensus Declaration coalition. In 2020 under President Trump, the United States was the lead sponsor of the Declaration to promote the strengthening and optimal health of women and the family. Investing in women's health and well-being saves lives, allows women and girls more opportunities, and protects the family as the fundamental unit of society.

Vice President Vance will speak Wednesday, Feb. 5, highlighting the Trump administration’s commitment to fighting religious persecution globally during #IRFSummit2025. Religious freedom was one of the primary priorities of the first Trump administration, and @VP ’s address will underline a commitment to furthering that work during President Trump’s second term. The vice president’s address comes less than three weeks after beginning his role in the White House and, with religious freedom under increasing threat around the world, it comes at a pivotal moment.
