finally smelled this and i understand the hype completely. i usually hate woody and spicy frags but this is the exception. warm and sweet with the perfect touch of cinnamon. an autumnal dessert in a bottle
let’s get into the real tea when is a 50ml perfume *too* expensive. i’m giving realistic ranges, and know that my vote is $500+ that’s a little barnacles to me
i think my favorite part of fragrances is testing all the different layering combinations… sorry to the purists out there but i will be mixing three perfumes together to create something new and personal
the sweetest banana pudding-esque smell ever. lactonic and sugary, and the banana note in the kayali mix so well with the almond on my skin i want to eat myself
Would love to know everyone’s first signature scent. This was mine in middle school/ high school. Honestly would love to have the bottle just for the nostalgia
first up is my holy grail chai épicé. she’s honestly the best chai scent i’ve ever smelled, so sweet, so affordable, so so so good. honestly my fall signature.
alexa chung the ultimate cool girl you are. first off rock river melody is the most gorgeous fragrance name i’ve ever heard. the notes are very green and woody and some say lean masculine (i have not smelled this myself).
philosophy just knows. so rich and edible and will make strangers on the street stop to tell you how good you smell (speaking from experience). plus it has a matching shower gel so you can literally bathe in it!
last but most definitely not least is my girl audrey. this was a little difficult as my sources were slightly mixed although most agreed that this was her signature. have never smelled but the notes alone are so reminiscent of her spirit and i need to get ahold of this scent.
