@therollupco @robbie_rollup I wish ethereum builders will understand this Decentralization and security can be maintained while building a clean UX for users. I was wondering how @AbstractChain as a consumer chain can't have an on-ramp route but that's by the way

That's the problem, it sounds simple to you but will be complicated to them irrespective of how much you educate them. If individual chains can have an easy on-ramp and off ramp route while running their business it will be a little bit friendly for them. Just imagine abstract chain as a consumer chain but doesn't have or cannot have an on-ramp route, one has to on-ramp on zksync or ethereum then bridge to Abstract. Same thing when trying to off ramp. I think we need to do better ZK is the solution and it needs to be used

But L2s ain't focusing fully on onboarding and scalability rather they still larp to what the base layer has achieved and still work hard to make it better. Some L2s like zksync is the ethereum equivalent already in terms of decentralization and security so why not focus on utilizing the benefits the L2 has to make Ethereum bigger and stronger. Why is L2 still larping on decentralization which ETHEREUM has worked on and is still working on. L2s needs to focus on what it's made for and not the other way round. Ethereum has created the tech so we should just scale it to make Ethereum bigger and not create more and more and more and more. Just imagine yourself on etheruem as a newbie, where do you expect to start from considering all the scaling technologies and the multiple chains on them? I think @ayyyeandy is right if he's just talking about fixing the business while maintaining the tech standard.

Decentralization is very important But Andy is right as long as onboarding normies are concerned. I think the best feeling a new crypto user wants is to use the crypto products and still feel like he/she is using a regular web2 products. Larping on decentralization without making the product more flexible and less complicated will not attract normies in as much as ethereum wants to create awareness to attract web2 users. Ethereum has a different culture that a regular web2 user will not understand. Build the tech and create a very strong funnel to onboard normies get onboarded without them knowing. Crypto can't move forward without new people coming in.

@brane_trix @NTmoney @llamaonthebrink There's a lot to say about zksync, you can only study zksync and it's elastic chains before you understand

Say no more With @Calderaxyz you can deploy your app chain in one click. Fully integrated on @zksync
L1s will go close zero and dapp level will flourish. We will get to level that it wonβt matter what chain you on. Nobody will know what are L1s. Itβs too much work and money to build an app and then go back to build your own blockchain and cover all the security issues every chain has in the beginning . Uniswap is building their own blockchain because they are in a unique position. This is the cost of pioneering.

RT @zksync: Launching a permissionless token takes just a few seconds. Why should chains be any different? Join the Elastic Network by laβ¦
