I understand where you are coming from and I don't disagree entirely either. You are not a loser. You bring up a good point that many people are thinking. My take, if they were able to turn a profit from other things, they could easily afford to make that free. Where we stand now, the community won't allow it, such as charging for uploads of avatars ect. Building something like this is difficult and navigating the right course is difficult, personally I think they have made the right choice for the time being until they can course correct later and that might come in the form of somehow getting free verify.

I believe it's a fair comparison, this is a game and It isn't free. Being able to play it is a luxury. We are fortunate to be able to play it for free. The amount someone would pay for luxury far exceeds 10 dollars one time, as many people we know rely on the income of being a creator. I think 10 dollars for protection and entry into 18 plus instances is more than reasonable.

This is probably the best solution though. Anytime they try to make money in their platform they run for free to the user, the community is upset. I'm not sure what other ways they can come up with to make money that people in this community would actually use. I do think they would being using other ways if they knew of them. But for a large amount of people here, spending 10 dollars is nothing for their avatar. Paying 10 one time for protection is not an unfair ask.
