Like your openness to new ideas Ben. I like the idea of care co-ordinators who build a longer term ongoing relationship with those either most complex or who find access most difficult. Instead of a barrier they become welcome support. They can call on wider support, from GP, OT, physio, health coach, link worker….. either for advice or to see in person.

I had a conversation today about the difference between "kindness" & "niceness" in leadership so I decided to post about it. The article & graphic explain why, as leaders, we should choose kindness over niceness. Kindness is about caring enough to push people toward greatness, even when it’s uncomfortable. Some important results to share from yesterday’s @rcgp one day conference in #persistentpain. 800 mostly GPs tunned in . Over 250 took part in our polls. We asked people to indicate who they think has most impact in persistent pain management, and where the balance sits in their current workplace. See the photos below. It’s fascinating to see GPs know peer support and health coaching is crucial, but currently most don’t have access to this sort of support for pain management. We are working with @Pure_Physio to reverse this situation and bring access to #healthcoaching for all @lvaughan1974 @olliehart7

Nice blog Charlotte and Anne....so many assets to offer. One dilemma we've seen is funding can kill the passion and drive. Shifts in scale and power stimulate squabbles. Funding models need to be skilful and administered by those who appreciate community working and appreciate how to lead walking backwards #ABCD @CormacRussell
