Ladies and Gentlemen, I have been commissioned to write a book. I am pleased to announce that I am currently working on a book project. It’s all about the story and making of Take The High Road, Scottish Television's drama serial/soap opera that originally ran from 1980 to 2003.

Z Cars - Night Train (7th October 1974). DC Braithwaite (David Jackson) is one of the officers searching for a wrong-'un on the night train. There's plenty of colourful types - like the young(ish) tearaways Geoffrey Hughes and Philip Jackson, giving Michael Sheard a hard time.

So maybe give it about a year before they're inevitably axed? Either that or they'll ditch the Neighbours From Hell shtick and soften the edges somehow. I feel so sorry for these actors as probably deserve better Corrie material.
