Boo to Eurostar. My first trip too, and I was looking forward to being wowed - but now at a higher price than when I first selected the ticket. I might buy a sandwich onboard, though can't guarantee the price at the till will be the same as price on the shelf...
@paulkerensa @Eurostar Hi Paul, we're sorry to hear that. It sounds as though the lower priced tickets sold out and so the next price band were released. Tickets are not held during the booking path so the price can change at any time.

@EurostarUK @Eurostar Yup, that’s what happened. Not a good system. Theatre tickets, concert tickets etc manage to stay the same price while in the basket (just like real shops! The price on the shelf doesn’t change on the way to the till) - but not Eurostar. We’re disappointed.
