.@Carl_C_Icahn told the story of railcar manufacturer ACF. After acquisition and reviewing the company, he could not understand what 12 floors of people in NYC did for the company. After much review and analysis from a consulting firm who also could not figure out what they did, he fired the 12 floors of people. He never heard a complaint of something not getting done after the staff was laid off. “It was like they never existed.” #doge
