Just watched the most New Jersey thing ever. A woman at a deli just bought the most insane amount of fresh mozzarella I’ve ever seen ordered. Like an incompressible amount. Then paid $675 in cash. I wish I knew why she needed that much cheese/ had that much cash! I stand in awe

Olympic Games and I can say that (with apologies to my old home city of London), it was the best Olympic Games I’ve ever been to (and it was my 9th Games). Tremendous venues, atmosphere, culture, food and people. C’est Bon!

And just to add, it was the first games I’ve been to where I had no credentials. Paid for all my own tickets. Rented an Airbnb and was just regular joe. The transportation, the signage , the volunteers all were amazing.

This was the most ridiculous end to a game I’ve seen. How can the clock be running while ref is still preventing ball from being snapped??? Sad ending where refs decided outcome.
They wound the clock from 0:02 down to 0:00 while the official was still standing between the ball and the quarterback

My father unexpectedly passed away this week. A great guy and amazing dad. I hope I’m half the dad to my kids that he was to me. While I wish he had more years in his life, he had an incredible amount of life in his years. Here is his obituary.

True story, I reactivated my ESPN+ account solely to watch the "new" NFL Prime Time. My favorite show on TV from 1980s until 2001..haven't watched for 18 years until today and it was like picking up an old baseball glove from your childhood (to mix sports metaphor).

This is tremendously sad news. My thoughts are with Mike and his family. Mike gave me my first shot at working in the Olympic Movement with the London bid. For that I will always be grateful. Rest in peace my friend.

This is heartbreaking. Vaughn has been a friend since college. We spoke last week. He got me my first job. He was as nice as they come. This is devasting news for those who knew and loved him.
ESPN’s NFL Nation Reporter for the Atlanta Falcons, Vaughn McClure, died at his apartment in Atlanta. What a nice man he was. McClure was 48. Rest In Peace.
