Funding of €5M has been awarded to ‘The Lisheen Bioeconomy Scaleup Initiative (BioScaleUp)’, as part of the @EUJTF_ie for Bioeconomy Demonstration Initiatives @agriculture_ie #EU. @biOrbic_centre is providing an enabling platform for collaboration between research performing organisations and industry through this landmark #bioeconomy scale-up initiative for Ireland. Prof Kevin O’Connor @UCD_SBBS, Director of @biOrbic_centre, said, “BioScaleUp is a significant step and demonstrates Ireland’s continued commitment to invest in projects and enable infrastructure to support biotechnological innovation in the bioeconomy." ➡️
