It’s a GIRL 👶
And she’s perfect.
Life is good.
6 weeks later? I’m laid off from work.
No panic.
6 months later? Same again.
12 months later? You guessed it.
Enough.
Here’s the plan.
By the end of 2024:
• Match my 9-5 income
• Work, rest & play on MY time
Get up!
I started Twitter on 01.01.23
It’s nearly April and still <100 followers.
- Is it me?
- Is it you?
- Is it Elon?
- Is it the algorithm?
It doesn’t matter. I enjoy writing my ideas and publishing them.
Steady as he goes… 🛳
They complain about their job, but do nothing.
They complain about being skint, but do nothing.
They complain about their weight, but do nothing.
What’s the lesson?
𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠.
5 x 1hr $97 consultancy calls a week generates an average UK salary.
That’s a 5-hour work week.
Sure, you’re not loaded, but you’re FREE.
Skill Up → Sell Up
Now let’s bloody go shall we?
Have you thought about giving up?
Dr. Wright was the kind of guy to consistently fill me with hope during one of our hundreds of appointments.
“Do you say that to your cancer patients, Doc?”
He nearly fell off his chair.
My mum always encouraged me to show pride in my work.
1000 followers.
Beginner's hell was kinda fun.
I spent 12 months there.
Every shower I've taken in that time has been RED HOT.
Do it your way, not theirs.
Just make sure you do it.
Thank you all!
(sneaky surprise coming next week 🍳)
We've been blessed.
With a fertilised egg.
My favourite kind.
Next addition to The Jagger Family due March 29th 2024.
Circumstances have changed but the challenge remains the same.
To reach financial freedom by 2025.
(whilst being grateful for the present moment)
Once upon a time I fired up all kinds of culinary delights every weeknight.
And blogged the process in public over on our local rival Instagram.
Then it became a chore.
Fell out of love with it.
But now I see cooking as self care.
Mindset separates the best from the rest.
Work once → Sell for eternity.
How?
By creating digital products.
In 2023 I created:
- Guides for writing viral tweets
- Instrumental beats for licensing
- Audio samples for music producers
Perfectionism stalls your engine.
Put it in drive.
Done > Perfect.
This tweet went nuts❗️

Thanks for all your comments.
Ironically mum came to my house unannounced yesterday.
Fate?
On another note I believe this post went viral (contextually) because:
1. Everyone has parents.
2. Emotions were involved.
3 Viral Tweets in 3 Days.
I cracked the code.

Stop giving a f*ck.
That book was right.
I’ve been writing songs and instrumentals for about 15 years.
Hardly ever posted them out of fear.
I don’t give a f*ck anymore.
Shadow Son will be singing songs and posting beats all over t’interweb from now on.
Dan Koe is brilliant at being Dan Koe.
If anyone is as good at being Dan Koe as Dan Koe, then it’s definitely Dan Koe.
Don’t be like Dan Koe.
This tweet isn’t about Dan Koe.
Who’s Ya Daddy?
10 weeks to go.
Counting down to Baby

: The Sequel.
The sound of a healthy 143bpm heartbeat is a powerful reminder of how precious life is.
And the ultimate reason for pursuing my dreams of making music & writing daily.
Goals are set for this year:
-
My brother, Tom, just turned 40.
I couldn’t find many photos of us.
But here’s one from the departure lounge at Manchester Airport.
Are you close with your siblings?
What's new?
New pfp.
New bio.
New leaf.
New year.
New niche.
New brand.
New purpose.
New pastures.
New potential.
New lease of life.
"Progress isn't perfection, but a step in the right direction."
I've had chronic pain for 15 years.
But you rarely hear it mentioned.
Why?
Because if I'm honest, speaking about it makes me feel uncomfortable, embarrassed and lame.
I'm ashamed of it.
The past couple of months I've been in a particularly bad spell.
Also, talking about
10k/month creators don’t have to send 100 cold DMs per day.
If they do, it’s a red flag.
Generating that cash but continuing to send cold DMs suggests:
- Your clients don’t trust you
- Your work is sub standard
- You don’t trust yourself
Word of mouth is a force of nature.
Become a human shield.
Defend yourself from redundancy.
Avoid the trauma of being laid off remotely.
And the compulsion to live stream it all on TikTok.
There's no corporate ladders left on the board.
Only snakes in the grass.
Your skills and your story are your shield.
Social Media companies exist to make money from you.
But you’re just gonna post gym selfies and photos of your dinner?
Stop seeing these platforms as a tool for entertainment.
Start seeing these platforms as a tool for making money.
(because they see you as a tool)
My friend Andrew is a Doctor.
£120k/year.
Ford Mustang.
Detached house.
Golf membership.
Andrew wants out.
Andrew feels lied to.
Andrew hates his job.
Does Andrew prove that money can’t buy happiness?
