There is an embedded assumption in this logic that every query is net new. I suspect the reality is that >95% of queries end up being repeat queries. Repeat queries should be able to recycle prior computations. (or at least larges pieces of prior computations.) If this index of prior computations is open-sourced... there is no advantage to scale...

@avichal What % of current bitcoin demand do you think is people who actually need its utility vs. want speculative upside? IMO it’s mostly the later

I visited my first robotic Sweetgreen location tonight. Some takeaways from chatting with the staff: 1.) The introduction of robots has not actually cut down employee headcount at the store but instead increased the throughput during peak hours. 2.) The time between ordering and delivery of bowls into customers' hands during busy hours is lower because of multiple ordering kiosks and parallelized bowl creation. 3.) The staff seemed to think the overall customer experience is improved with lower wait times. 4.) The job of employees has shifted from making the salads themselves to continually restocking the robot with inputs. 5.) The biggest negative from the staff was the tedious end-of-day robot cleaning process. It takes 2.5 hours. This is a meaningful increase over the prior process. My salad came out in < 3 mins with the same quality as a normal store. It felt magical.
