Did you even bother to read in entirely first that explained the situation about the name change and reporter being banned? Or did you jump on my post trying to prove a point just to look foolish.
If a reporter does not respect the will of the President, maybe they shouldn't be allowed in the WH Press Room. Again, it's a privilege. Not a right. A reporter from The Associated Press (AP) was barred from attending a White House press briefing in the Oval Office on February 11, 2025, because the AP did not align its editorial standards with an executive order signed by President Donald Trump. This executive order aimed to rename the Gulf of Mexico as the Gulf of America. The AP had decided to continue using the name "Gulf of Mexico" instead of adopting the new name mandated by the executive order. This decision led to the White House barring the AP reporter from accessing the event, which was described by AP Executive Editor Julie Pace as a violation of the First Amendment.

But to EXPECT people to go along with it & BAN them when they don’t, is a problem. Especially when you’re the president and those are reporters. You’re trying to create new scenario’s and twist things to make me seem wrong.
