Robert Schreiber @uwsomwwami discussed Tr1 cells as inhibitors of anti-tumor responses #AACRtii24. High doses of tumor-specific MHC II neoantigens induce CD4 Tr1 cells, killing antigen-presenting cDC1 and inhibiting rejection. Can be overcome with CD8 cis-targeted IL-2 mutein.
