iOS 17.6 beta 1 has backported changes from iOS 18 which prevents non-root processes from spawning binaries.
This breaks a lot of jailbreak related applications including Trollstore and our Loader app.
It is recommended you stay away from these versions.

Here's palen1x! The iso is around 26mb in size and is based on Alpine Linux, and it works with the versions palera1n-c supports (it's been tested on 15.6RC). It also may be familiar to you since it uses the same TUI as odysseyn1x, but modified to match palera1n's requirements.

Then you can try and jailbreak again. Add sudo to the beginning of the second command if you’re on Linux.

Then comes my focus on iOS 16. I worked on palera1n for days getting it to work on iOS 16. This required launchd hijacking to uicache the loader app. Yes, this is where Tips app hijacking ended. iOS 16 was jailbroken in 91 days, compared to iOS 15, which took over a year.

After that, Mineek modified the checkra1n kpf to spit out a patched kernel. This gave the ability to use tweaks on iOS 15+. This booted off of a fakefs so it was semi-tethered. This is where palera1n could actually be called a jailbreak. It had sandbox patches, and other stuff.

, hacked up a tethered jailbreak, which we called AppleJB, since it was using Apple's dev kernels in the 15.1 beta OTA. Funnily enough, this was actually not too bad stability-wise.
