Was hoping for 22, but I struggled on the last section and had to have a 15min nap in bus stop. Fab ride though, more like a big group social.

Done. Fab day out. Great company. Ice here and there but everyone stayed upright. Should have been home a while ago but ended up depend 2 1/4hrs chatting in the pub at the end.
213km after a month off due to illness.
Pretty happy with that.

New pump, new front light (Strada), new rear cateye omni and swapped out the tailfin for the lighter restrap race bag.

Completely misjudged how cold it would be. Hands are frozen and roads (I planned and booked this diy last year before I was ill and have kept moving it back) are sketchy AF. Lots of ice about on the lanes. I can’t make any pace.

Coffee date with a friend from the CTC before work.
Before cycling I would have just driven to work, been over an hour early and just sat at my desk, stressing over the day.
Cycling has given me so many great new friends and a completely new mindset.
