A&E: The Miami Book Fair (Nov. 17-24) features free and ticketed events, from a “Cocaine Cowboys” panel to “An Evening with Don Lemon.” Plus, Stonewall Museum's monthly LGBTQ film series continues with Parting Glances.

A&E: Our Fund awarded $300K to 16 local LGBTQ orgs, boosting arts & culture in South Florida. Thanks to Warten Foundation, these grants will support projects like FAU’s Fair Play Initiative & OUTshine LGBTQ+ Film Fest.

BOOKS: Celebrated Black queer poet Jubi Arriola-Headley, author of Bound, will speak at the Miami Book Fair on Nov. 24. Known for exploring identity, freedom, and resilience, Jubi’s work captures the joy and challenge of living authentically.

LOCAL: Incumbent Katherine Waldron narrowly lost District 93 to Republican Anne Gerwig, with a 356-vote margin. The heated race saw negative ads misrepresenting Waldron’s record, despite Gerwig’s earlier pledge to avoid such tactics.
