@ryzerth The contesters also pay for their license, they could argue the same way as you do. Also I think you are exaggerating regarding „every weekend“. I have had a monoband antenna for 40m (inv V dipole) for several years when I got bored I shortened it to become a 30m WARC dipole.

@ibelings Not sure if there are really control signals or the antenna searches itself for signal ? But it is a pretty nice unit.

@VE5REV @Krismen_ Yes that’s the way via IP remote control. But @Krismen_ mentioned using a simple Bluetooth connection. It seems some Bluetooth stacks allow using the PC as a speakerphone. Unfortunately my HP notebook does not support passing BT audio :-( only BT serial port is supported.

@VE5REV @Krismen_ Yes you can do it via the Network (or Wi-Fi Access point ) with the Icom Software (not free) or with the free Wfview software. But just put of the box via Bluetooth didn’t work for audio (only for CAT).

@VE5REV @Krismen_ I am using CAT via Bluetooth also, but how did you make the audio connection from the IC705 to a PC using Bluetooth? I think it only supports Bluetooth headsets and the PC cannot normally emulate to be a headset?

@Benathon @AmorimFh @F5OEOEvariste I think it’s a Webserver Witz the SDR code running on the Pluto itself, therefore no IQ data gets transferred to the client PC. The PC only used for visualization via a web browser, I guess.
