Productive days in #Spain🇪🇸 engaging stakeholders truly committed to combating #humantrafficking! We had several🔑meetings, including with Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs @MAECgob Diego Martínez Belío, @interiorgob National Anti-trafficking Rapporteur Ana María Prejigueiro Rodríguez, and @justiciagob, @IgualdadGob, @inclusiongob reps. Focused on victim identification, prosecution, prevention & support. Emphasized vital cross-agency partnerships to strengthen our collective fight against this heinous crime. #EndHumanTrafficking

Our country visit to #Madrid 🇪🇸 has just started! Over the next few days, we'll meet governmental officials and civil society to discuss #HumanTrafficking trends, #Spain's successes, and potential partnerships to boost anti-trafficking efforts in the country. #CombatHumanTrafficking

@OSCE #SRKariJohnstone delivered a keynote address at the conference "Human Trafficking: The Route of Labour Migration—Pitfalls and Opportunities for Third-country Nationals" in #Sofia🇧🇬. Dr. Johnstone also spoke at a side event for parliamentarians organized by @Antitraffic_bg and @IJM, and met with Deputy Minister of Interior MoI Todorov, the Anti-Trafficking Commission, and civil society. She discussed further collaboration with #Bulgaria to implement the social path approach to ensure unconditional access to services for all #HumanTrafficking victims as well as trafficking risks for #Ukrainian #Refugees.

Over 100k #refugees from #Ukraine have found shelter in #Ireland. @OSCE Anti-trafficking #SRKariJohnstone started her visit to 🇮🇪 by participating in the workshop we organized in Dublin on measures taken to address risks of #HumanTrafficking for refugees hosted in the country. She also had an important meeting with the Secretary General of the Department of Justice, Oonagh Mc Philips. Thanks to @DeptJusticeIRL for the excellent collaboration and all the workshop participants who exchanged insights & perspectives! We look forward to continuing our cooperation in combating trafficking, including amid refugee flows.

Coordination of our collective efforts to assist States in preventing and ending #HumanTrafficking is essential.
