This offseason, the Dodgers had the perfect combination of not only adding the best talent on the open market but also re-signing their key guys: - Roki Sasaki - Blake Snell - Tanner Scott - Kirby Yates - Blake Treinen - Tommy Edman - Teoscar Hernández - Kiké Hernández SHEESH!

With the exception of about a handful (5) of those players it hard to think of any obvious landing spots for most of them.
You really do wonder when and where the last few quality FA's will be signed and where they will go. IMO the last of the quality/decent one's: -Position players: Bregman, Iglesias, Turner, Martinez, Rodgers & DeJong - Pitchers: Pivetta, Robertson, Heaney, Jansen, Quintana

I think the only reason Arenado hasn't been traded to the Yankees just yet is that the Cards are hoping for another team namely the Red Sox primarily to make them a better offer. I just don't see that happening, it makes no sense to the Red Sox to move Devers off 3B right now.

@Sportsteamnews I really do see ultimately a deal coming together. The Cards are desperate to move Arenado and save some money and the Yankees are better with him than without him, at the right price.

This also tells me that unless Vlad Jr is will to accept heavy deferrals the Mets are not going to be involved in any significant contract discussions with him IF he becomes an UFA after the season. IMO, 10+ yrs in the $400M+ range now seem out of the Mets/Cohens comfort range.

Apparently there are 3 teams Cards are targeting as possible landing spots for Arenado. They are in no order: - Dodgers - Red Sox - Yankees MY opinion not sure why the Dodgers would want him w/Muncy. Red Sox don't really seem like an option w/Devers Yankees are the most realistic

@Izumi330 @pjyankeeedved I believe most of the people you mentioned were taken advantage of mgrs or financial people NOT their interpreter or someone in that type capacity and certainly not to $17M.

I honestly believe over the last two seasons we are witnessing the fall of Scott Boras as the "King" of Agents. His really only success story has been Soto and he's very much the exception than the rule.
