my mom’s from Lapu-Lapu City in Cebu, Philippines which is named after Datu Lapu-Lapu, a chief who successfully killed Ferdinand Megellan in the Battle of Machtan. My grandma grew up on an Island off the mainland of Cebu called Bantayan. we all speak Visayan.
Saw someone say they are scared of the vocals on HEIS bc it’s devilish …. The vocals are just Swahili. I hate white people for what they did to your brains but I hate you more for not growing sense of your own.
it’s so funny to watch in real time how tik tok fuels non new yorkers perception of what it’s like in nyc without them having stepping a single foot here
NYC just isn’t appealing to me, the aggressiveness, the Timberland boots, that dry ass New York pizza, chopped cheese blended burger sandwiches, I don’t want none of it.

genuinely completely different vibe with energy and people. LA is way more spaced out while nyc is more condensed. it makes it way way easier to get anywhere in nyc than LA. you’re assed out in LA without a car & i hate that
i really be having some crazy luck. tell me how the person who interviewed me for the last round of this position is a woman who’s in my grad program with me. and we’ve done projects together lmao.
@shawtyastrology
cancer, and i’ve been seeing 1111, 222, 333, and 444. i decided to sit at seat 11 during a carnival game cuz of how much i’ve been seeing it and i won 😭
my take on it is because it’s easier nowadays to pick it back up w ppl if you want to. like you can ghost someone today & then still have access to them if you’re on their social or have their number. it’s the accessibility that causes the lack of empathy
