Physics major who spends too much time learning math. Hoping to pursue further studies in the field of theoretical and mathematical physics.
Joined July 2024
They're just getting started
We completely agree! Introducing more elaborative interrogation questions, challenge problems, competition-level math, and multi-part projects (including coding projects) are all on the roadmap. Getting all that in place at the volume and quality we need is extremely difficult and requires an enormous amount of time and resources. Not to mention that, until recently, we've operated with a tiny team. What we've managed to develop so far is helping many people who'd pretty much given up on math. We cannot hide in the basement until every feature or piece of content we'd like is fully developed - that's not how creating anything of any value works. You have to get to a point where the technology and content are stable, get that into the hands of users, and then iterate and improve quickly and aggressively. We're fully aware of where we can improve. You won't find anyone more dedicated to addressing these challenges than Jason, Sandy, Justin, and myself (and the rest of the team). But it will take time - please bear with us.

@Chisom14Solomon @_MathAcademy_ At your pace you'd be at around 100kXP in about 2 years from now. 👀

This year is going to be a treat. Gotta ramp up my study time to finish the prereqs since i want to study those courses the moment they come out!
@eulersconstanto For the upper-division stuff: Differential Equations and Abstract Algebra are scheduled for early summer (AA might take a bit longer), with Real Analysis in the autumn.

@sayidislearning I also do this! I have multiple layers of defense. I have to be really aggressive about it because of my diagnosed ADHD.

I remember asking about this feature to justin and now it is coming to life!!
We have a lot of stuff cooking at the moment and one of them is our upcoming Streaks feature. About a week ago, I hired my good friend and long-time podcast co-host @justinvincent to work with me on screen designs, and that decision is really paying off. This is what we came up with yesterday after an hour-long session arguing over the placement and color of just about every pixel on the screen, which despite how it sounds was actually super fun!

@yxlamar Thank you! That means a lot. Still have a long way to go, but your support keeps me motivated.

@sutherlandphys This was me at first. I have always been interested in physics but chose biology as my first major. It's not that I don't like math, I was really bad at it because my foundation was non-existent. I realized down the line that I really like physics more, and so here I am.
