the mothman has no direct attacks, rather it will try to inflict fall damage by carrying you into the sky. you can easily mash out of its grab, but damaged mothmen will carry you faster - giving you less time to react.

prior to fighting the ALIENGATOR, you'll encounter hordes of SHOCKODILES first! they're rather straightforward monsters and don't have a lot of health, but later on they tend to be paired with other monsters.

the library is one of the first required areas you'll reach. lots of creatures here, including the BULLHOG - whose attack sends you high up. if you don't have the back-flip yet (found here) you can get hit to reach the top the bookshelves

doodled this background late last night. I like how the parallax ended up looking like it doesn't need to be on separate layers, but rather just different sections of one layer - kinda like how NES games had to do it.

as a little bonus last-minute feature, the SLAYER WHIP is a hidden weapon you can find late in the game. it can be swung in 8 DIRECTIONS and reflect projectiles!

Tres-Bashers is out FRIDAY!
the original gimmick was a focused passion project by a handful of devs at sunsoft. I think any attempt at a sequel would struggle to recreate what made the original so special, but I can't help but see this announcement as a cynical attempt to cash out on the IP
still working on games as hard as I can. My goal was to have a new trailer ready by my birthday (tomorrow) but it's gonna take a little more time.

I also show off the slide maneuver, which can be obtained in this area.
terry can SLIDE now!
the slide gives you invincibility. pressing A again does a KICK JUMP, but you lose the iframes. you can cancel it into a reverse bat swing too.

I decided to give Wonky a weapon wheel - he can switch between 4 different bullet types now!
one of them is the CHAINSAW, which deals rapid damage at close range, & can be released as a projectile if held out long enough!

check out this guy - the BEETLETAUR! he's got an arm gun and a sword that can unleash shock waves.

he takes tiny steps, so he doesn't accelerate like other enemies. gives him bigness vibes. pretty fun guy to fight, especially alongside aerial enemies.
KILLER CLOWNS run amok in the GYMNASIUM!
they're the only monsters in the game that can block your attacks, and will put up a guard if you get close. you can usually land a hit by intercepting a punch, or by simply beating them to the PUNCH!
