Somewhere out there, the next XCOPY is grinding, selling pieces for fractions of an ETH (or a few XTZ). These are the hidden gems waiting to be found, offering you the most fulfillment and financial reward. But you won't find them if you follow the herd. Chart your own path.

There's a saying in business that good people leave under bad management. We're starting to see this manifest in digital art. Two of my favorite people have left in the last few days. And yet, we continue with the gms and blind positivity, as if everything is just dandy here.

Digital art discovery is a problem. Work is spread across several platforms and there are no tools for browsing by style or other attributes. We rely excessively on Twitter, which has put too much emphasis on social engagement. I'm building a tool I hope can help with this. 👇

Artists are subservient to a few collectors, because they are afraid to "bite the hand that feeds." Because they have seen the impact one purchase by a Cozomo can have on an artist's career. And they have seen what can happen if you question anyone with a cult following.

Art challenges the status quo, it doesn't reinforce it. It gives us food for thought, it isn't just eye candy. It speaks loudly during turbulent times, it doesn't remain silent. It shows courage, not conformity. Art paints the world in the colors of our collective conscience.

Many entered NFTs this year to speculate and make money. And there's nothing wrong with that. Betting on a new space that's being FUDed by the world over takes courage and initiative. But now that you're here, you can do more than just flip NFTs. 🖼️🧵

10/ Most collectors will honor secondary royalties for artists, because they see the big picture. It is far more fulfilling to help someone succeed than it is to save a few percentage points on a sale. And if you don't see it that way, then maybe collecting art isn't for you.

We can't expect the world to take us seriously if we don't hold one another accountable. Suppressing critical voices today hurts the space tomorrow. People need to be free to express their opinions, even if you don't like what they have to say. Might doesn't make it right.
