Like before, marriage was always out of the question, too much trouble and no need for it anyway - or so they thought - but in that moment Soap realised how much he wants to marry Ghost, and Ghost's reaction clearly showed that he likes the thought too

There’s just something about GhostSoap being super masculine and literally the definition of military men but at the same time not in the toxic asshole way
They look (and are) tough but I love seeing them being portrayed as gentle and nice and caring too

Ghost rarely taking off his clothes or his mask, and Soap not having a problem with that for a second. He loves him, not “in spite of it”, not “anyway”, he just loves Ghost the way he is, and understands that there are a lot of trauma related reasons behind it.

I would even argue that excluding Roach is understandable because he isn’t in the reboots and doesn’t exist in that universe (yet) - while Gaz is a major and established character and shouldn’t be left out
But I love Roach and am happy when he’s included too
