Thank you for putting this in words. I wish more people awaken to the power of the media in setting and tuning their thoughts.
I've tweeted this a few times but it bears repeating: if you see anything in the media you need to ask yourself, why am I seeing this? Why now? Whose interest does it serve? The day you realize that nothing in media is just there by happenstance and that there is always an agenda, that's the day your eye starts opening. Most people are naive about this.
