Crazy about those kernels! National Corn Chip Day has us reaching for the salsa, and some stats. According to the USDA, more than 3 million acres of our great state are used to grow corn. Thanks to our farmers, @OhioCornWheat and more for helping feed the world!

Winter wheat on the way. According to the USDA, Ohio farmers planted about 660,000 acres. That’s up 27 percent from last year. Whether winter or any season, thanks to those putting in hours and acres so we may have food on our tables.

Weight a second! Our Weights & Measures team works with county auditors and city sealers to make sure more than 200,000 measurement devices are accurate. Everything from gas pumps to livestock scales to grocery scales are inspected. Thanks for helping us get what we pay for!
