I need to read the bill but I’m not either. I support the kids getting paid but no tax breaks. They need to have to pay taxes on earnings, straight up!
@oh_HOLMES I'm NOT im favor of this... A new bill proposed in the Georgia legislature aims to eliminate the state's 5.49 percent income tax for college athletes on their NIL deals.

How did we get here… NIL collectives have tax exempt status. Business donations to pay college football players are tax deductible.

The guy running the Castillos Mexican Company food truck at the gas station on Spring Road is doing it right. Buddy is cleaning up and busy consistently! I bet whatever he has to pay the gas station is far less than many of these restaurants leasing a physical space have to pay

Dems won’t fight for Black Americans getting their land seized in rural GA but at the same time these buffoons will also wonder why they can’t boost Black voter turnout in rural GA. Political malpractice of the highest order.
I haven’t heard many GA Dems say much at all about what’s going down in Dublin, GA and the Black American landowners who may get their land seized via eminent domain. They let Libertarians swoop in and step up to help the folks.
