@AishaYesufu There is no need to double down on a wrong decision. You made a mistake in 2014. Own it and move forward. Doubling down like this with all the retrospective knowledge we have today is disingenuous. ๐Ÿ˜‡

@BenjaminPDixon @elonmusk One of the biggest mistakes poor people make is believing they are smarter than rich people. Money is a reward for value. Stupid people don't add value to anything. ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ

The authorities need to get proactive in nipping this now. Nothing stops the law enforcement agencies from setting up sting operations to unmask the witch doctors promising this to youth and also.posing as witch doctors to catch those angling to kill others for rituals. Many Police departments in the USA set up sting operations to catch drug dealers, car thieves, etc, before they carry out real acts. @LagosPoliceNG @PoliceNG @OfficialDSSNG

@DonRedael @FinPlanKaluAja1 I was coming from a family friends place where I had picked up 2 boxes to bring back to Naija. "Banged up abroad" was all I could think about at that moment as I was concerned I might have innocently carried something illegal.

@TheoAbuAgada Truth be told?........he falls below the threshold for proper conduct. He may have done done but the wrongs he did were of such significance that it will haunt him for a long time.

@elonmusk One of the things I like about @elonmusk is an unapologetic level of openness that is rare amongst public figures. Dude simply says it as he believes without colouration or editing. 99% of those in his position will try to sugarcoat the report.

A foreigner going through the responses to this post will understand Nigerias' problems in 30 seconds. It will be easy to see the damage caused by the hordes of tribal bigots with empty skulls enabling the retrogression we are all suffering. Buffoons everywhere. How a publicly available data posted can draw such comments should be studied.

2025 Goals. 1) Take what belongs to Caesar. 2) Run faster than my shadow. 3) Bite more than I can chew. 4) Eat my cake and have it. 5) Continually Give thanks to the Lord. 6) Check all that glitters, confirm it's gold. 7) Kill ten birds with one stone 8) Cut my coat bigger than my size. 9) Bring the light to the entrance of the tunnel. 10) Make hay morning, afternoon, and night, not only when the sun shines.

I remember when we demonstrated against my schools inability to provide diesel to power the generators during my final year in school, which was causing our project cultures to spoil after our parents had invested a lot into our projects. The school, instead of attending to our grievances, spent well above 5 times what it would have taken to alleviate our concerns on building better protection for the schools officers so we cannot reach them if it degenerates into a riot. Students went gaga and ultimately rioted, leading to the school being shut down. When mediocrity becomes elevated to a virtue ,this is what you get. A reactive system devoid of proper reasoning.

The latest directive of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) placing some restrictions on the distribution of palliatives to the less privileged in our midst is disturbing. Even though the directive is a timely response to the series of tragedies recorded across the country recently, and the IG's honest reaction to the challenges of the prevailing economic hardship, it's open to abuse. It is capable of discouraging citizens from helping the hungry and distressed among us. While I understand the need for better organization and more attention to public safety, it is important to clarify that acts of goodwill should not be hindered by excessive bureaucracy. Rather than requiring people to seek permission to assist those in need, we should encourage them to find better, more organized ways to offer such help. The focus should be on promoting coordination, not imposing barriers that could deter much-needed acts of kindness in a time of widespread hunger, pain, and anger. This is not the time to stifle the spirit of compassion and generosity among our people. Instead, let us channel these efforts constructively, ensuring that help reaches the most vulnerable safely and efficiently. The government must also do more to address the root causes of this hardship, providing lasting solutions rather than creating obstacles for those stepping in to fill the gaps created by governmentโ€™s insensitive policies. I urge the IGP to immediately review this directive and ensure that the police fosters collaboration and support, not division and discouragement, in our shared quest to alleviate the suffering of Nigerians. -PO
