2. So my grandfather slipped away & hid & made his way to Spain where he healed enough to get to New York City where he stayed with friends while recuperating. Fortunately for me he decided he wasn't going to be cannon fodder.

@RiamuCelestrian @ThatEricAlper At first, when the Ladies were setting up, I thought they were the roadies for the Stray Cats setting up. But then they started playing & I was puzzled & then blown away because they were so good. I even went to the sound guy at the console to ask who they were.

One of my goals this year is to delve into some overdue genealogical research. The upside: Irish families had lots of kids (so DNA match clues abound). Downside: The Irish reuse the same given names generation after generation. Lots of Jeremiah, John, and Patrick ancestors.

@KoorikiFox @marissenmark What surprises me is the fact that so many people don't know the difference between "supportive housing" and "social housing". Even some in the media. Perhaps I expect too much knowledge in the part of the general public.

@iamkennethchan My wife is doing a social work shift in the ICU at RCH today. I gave her a heads up when I drove her over to RCH. Looks like it will be a busy day for her with a number of probable serious injuries (not to mention the one death already reported).
