@laxcolumbus TBF - It’s not that different from regular season games. Practice and wallball are here you get max touches.

@SUvadala @caseypowell22 I’m not angry. I’m a male coach, official and father of a former player. And what did I write that makes no sense? I’ve seen a 100 lb HS freshman boy completely laid out, unconscious by 200 lb senior. Almost as scary as the boy whose heart stopped from a shot to the chest.

@caseypowell22 So many people, who have never played, officiated or coached women’s lacrosse, recommending changes to their game. If this were the opposite, women recommending radical changes to the men’s game, there would be outrage.

@SUvadala @caseypowell22 MA mandated helmets for women once. Concussions went up. They quickly dropped it. Men need to stop telling women what to change in their game. If women were saying things like, “Get rid of the D pole, and learn to play body defense,” men would lose their minds.

@CoachJonBeck The mistake I see too often is coaches giving players freedom lead but failing to give them the necessary tools. Then, when the player makes a mistake, the coach strips them of their leadership. Discussions and mentoring about quality leadership traits and habits are a must.

@laxcolumbus @TheVelocityLax changed their model . If you were on the team this summer, your spot is safe for next summer if you want it. They will evaluate new players for open spots as needed.

@CinDayLAX Officiated 13 games in the last 2 days. Didn’t hear many “Wheels”. Heard a lot of “Gotta be (insert color)”. Heard way more parent coaching . You’re paying how much money for a club team, and you proceed to stand on the sidelines and tell your kid what to do? Why?

@BrianATraynor @thedramaqueener That would result in more players intentionally running into free space to goal (already happening) to prevent a shot. That foul takes away the shooter’s ability to score. It should be a freepo more than any other foul inside the 8m.
