Congratulations to Amanda Fitzwilliam who last night was recognized as the Conference Player of the Year! Amanda tied a school record this year with 13 total home runs. She homered in 3 consecutive at bats in district play. One of which was a walk off in the district semifinals.

Varsity Softball lost a hard fought game today against Jackson 9-8. After trailing 9-2 going into the 6th inning, the Tigers fought back scoring 6 runs in the last 2 innings. The coaching staff is so proud of this team! They showed a lot of heart, resiliency and leadership!

Congrats to Varsity Softball on their 7-0 win today in the 1st round of districts over Poplar Bluff. Welch was fantastic in the circle throwing a complete game 3 hit shutout. Welch also 2 hits. Frank, DesRoche, Wiesler, Endermuhle, Kemp, Kovach (2 RBI’s) and Kahle each with hits!

Congrats to Amanda Fitzwilliam on being named as a 1st Team All Metro Infielder and Calynn Gicante for being named as a 2nd Team All Metro Utility Player. Well deserved honors for 2 Seniors that had incredible 2019 seasons and 4 year Oakville Varsity Softball careers!

Congrats to the Varsity Softball Team on their 7-3 win over Sullivan to capture 3rd place in the Jeff City Tourney. Fitzwilliam (3 hits and 2 RBI’s), Pike (2 hits), Huelsing (2 hits and 1 RBI), Rhyne (1 hit 1 RBI) and Kahle (2 hits and 2 RBI’s). Alonzo gets the win!!

Congrats to Varsity Softball on their 9-2 win today over Notre Dame. Welch pitched 7 strong innings to earn the complete game win. Kovach had 3 hits and 1 RBI. Endermuhle had 2 hits, Kemp drove in 3 runs and Kahle had a double and 2 RBI’s. Frank reached base 3 times. Great job!!
