In 1995 after 4 incredible years, Tomo Ohira and I retired from the oG SoCal Street Fighter Tournament community. We moved on with our Iives and sailed off into the sunset of our futures. In 2025 we will be returning to the game and scene we love. Facts. I watched Higuchi playing casual sets with Kakeru that morning not knowing who he was. Same matchup and Kakeru was beating Higuchi. I was like... 😳 By that evening everyone knew who Kakeru was. Along with Ryan Hart's win over IDom, it was one of the most electric moments of the Tournament.
