Today is your last chance to ride on a BendiBus in Coventry. Bus 6021 is operating between University Hospital and Arena Park until around 6.00 p.m. when it will be retired from service.
These buses are 19 years apart in age and are now both fully Euro Vl compliant. We have upgraded our older buses to have the same low emissions as our newest diesel buses.
Here's 4125 and 7541 together 🚌
Brilliant that after lots of lobbying we have made this happen - up to £50 million coming to Coventry to turn its whole bus fleet electric. A big win and I am delighted to have been able to convince
@grantshapps
to put his faith in the West Midlands again.
On Sunday 30th August 2020, we will launch the electric double decker buses into service on the 9/9A route between University Hospital and Finham, via Coventry rail station and Coventry Pool Meadow 🚌😍⚡ Read more >>
