Important update for visitors to Compton Beach and surrounding coastal paths. Part of the coastal path (F35) at Compton Cliffs is currently closed due to landslips. The steps down to Compton Bay and Compton Chine remain open and accessible, with signage in place to guide you.

As a mark of respect for our beloved Countryside Manager, Robin, and to allow staff and volunteers time to attend his funeral, Mottistone Gardens and Bembridge Windmill will be closed on Tuesday 24th September. We thank you for your understanding.

In memory of Robin Lang, our beloved Countryside Manager, who recently passed away. Robin dedicated his career to caring for the Island’s countryside. His funeral is on Tues 24 Sept, 12pm at St Peter & St Paul, Mottistone. Donations to UNICEF via Geoff Leather Funeral Directors
