i don’t get why women praying taraweeh in the masjid is so triggering for some people. for myself (and others), it’s a way to stay motivated. i know if i try to pray at home i’ll get lazy/distracted so i’d much rather pray in the masjid with friends who will hold me accountable.

one of my biggest fears being active on here is people thinking i’m more pious than them, especially when i post islamic reminders or khutbah reflections. we are all human and we all make mistakes; none of us are perfect. everything i post is a reminder for myself first.

the best time to pray tahajjud is in the last third of the night which is about 2:30 am if i’m correct. you just make wudu and pray in intervals of two rak’ahs and in sujood you can make dua for whatever you want
