@realMattToomer PS: concern-airing about content of shows isn't best done aimed at actors on stage while they're performing. Maybe emailing the producers or writers afterwards? Something that doesn't ruin the experience for the entire rest of the audience?

@realMattToomer "shouting homophobic comments" was the description, so yes that comes under abuse. Even if they'd shouted "this is rubbish I wanted to see Dolly Parton and Dolly Parton only" they would have been ejected for disruption.

@realMattToomer @HYCAMusicalUK The musical isn't about Dolly Parton pushing "identity politics", it's about a gay bloke who finds solace via Dolly Parton's music. So yeah, pretty vital to the narrative.

Shocked to read that the cast of a musical (surely the queerest of all the arts) are subjected to homophobic abuse from audience members who *willingly bought tickets*. Not like it was a bait-and-switch. If you just want Dolly Parton songs, try Spotify.

I've been watching #THEFEARCLINIC & I'm very tempted to call and tell them I have a terrible phobia of puppies. The treatment? Going into a room full of puppies. NOOOO! Please don't make me sit down with the puppies and their derpy lil potato faces and tiny teefs and soft ears!😇

I am disgusted by the government’s relentless demonisation of disabled people. All so they can protect the wealthiest from paying their fair share. Instead of targeting the most vulnerable, let’s “crack down” on corporations and billionaires evading tax instead.
