@WutFoxSays @kylegriffin1 The NY judge that ruled against DOGE was literally a Reagan appointee

@PoliticsInChief @brianbeutler It's gone back and forth between the courts now. His SAVE repayment plan was in effect, then a court struck it down (just like the NY judge to Trump). Then a different court put a stay on that and it was back in effect. But then a federal appeals court struck it down once more.

@Shadowcoder203 @HoustonHizzoner @JStein_WaPo Yeah I just saw this. I had heard rumors that agencies were still not receiving funding despite the court order. Really bad.

@kenklippenstein These old fucks are way too friendly and used to Republicans. It's like Lucy with the football. Republicans will not come to their senses and will not help, act accordingly.

@Fat_DTEA @CA_Commissioner Yeah that's a great point. He was always off, I think his usage of Twitter and then the purchasing of it radicalized him fairly quickly.

@ettingermentum Agreed, Dems should focus on highlighting Trump's stupidity and ineptitude. Don't paint him as strong/powerful, paint him as stupid and ineffective.

@Shadowcoder203 @HoustonHizzoner @JStein_WaPo Yeah it's entirely possible, and then we enter a pretty dark period. Depends on whether Congress would do something about it.

@ArmandDoma Definitely more and more entering the post-truth era. With the collapse of local media and the consolidation of media outlets under right wing billionaires, not certain how you even reverse it.

@Shadowcoder203 @HoustonHizzoner @JStein_WaPo It's all bluster and bravado, we'll see if they are actually willing to cause a Constitutional crisis.

@HoustonHizzoner @Shadowcoder203 @JStein_WaPo The NY judge's decision was a temporary stay, the actual case proceedings begin this week. If Trump's team doesn't get the ruling they want, they will appeal. That's how this works.

RT @esjesjesj: There has been zero transparency from DOGE. They have quite literally proven no fraud or waste. All we’ve had is Elon postin…

@DitkaMoose @WOODTV Ok yeah you don’t know them personally so they don’t exist. Whatever man, if you want to side with the banks and encourage them to screw over more people, that’s all you.

Again, killing the CFPB is just handing over our money to banks.

Yes, this is a point I've been making and the overdraft thing is a perfect example. If you had $12 in your account and you bought a $5 coffee and then put $20 of gas in your car, what banks would do is flip the transactions and debit the $20 first, then hit the $5 coffee, and boom, you get 2 overdraft fees instead of just one. They would stretch that out over days! Get rid of the CFPB and that stuff will come right back.

@DitkaMoose @WOODTV The CFPB has caught shady behavior by banks and gotten back billions. Think to yourself who benefits when this agency is shut down.

@DitkaMoose @WOODTV Educate yourself. They got back billions of dollars to customers of WellsFargo. Banks and credit card companies screw people all the time. The CFPB is who will help you get your money back.
