@kmcannon Great idea. The amounts are small, on the order of 0.1 Pascal beyond saturation and tiny crystals, but it's probably more efficient than condensing vapor. There are fog catchers for deserts; I have never heard of one for Mars.

@Rainmaker1973 I'd add that the inventors of insulin didn't get along. Banting and Collip got into a severe shouting match once. Nowadays one could get fired for this or prevented from receiving prizes.

@niamhtumelty @olivier_pourret I pay my publication charges from my grants, as do most scientists I know. And I intentionally choose to publish in the less expensive journals (like IOP ~$2k/paper versus Wiley or Elsevier ~$4k/paper).
