The Korean right has long been nurtured by imperialist collaboration, and gender violence has always been part of this relationship. Men targeting An San for being from Gwangju shows us how important misogyny is to promoting right wing politics in general in South Korea.

Western media has ignored Kim’s calls for peace, cherry-picking her comments to paint north Korea as the primary aggressor and manufacturing consent for war. We denounce preemptive strikes, a military strategy designed to invade under the guise of defense! (4/4)

The demolition of roads connecting North and South Korea is the outcome of Seoul and Washington’s unbridled aggression. South Korea now touts “reunification” in the form of regime change. In this light, the demolition of roads is a defensive maneuver against invasion.

Organized crime has often been used by landlords, companies, and the govt for everything from evicting tenants to breaking strikes. In 2009, President Lee Myung-bak mobilized "private security forces" to brutally evict street vendors from the Insa-dong district in Seoul.

Jay Leno’s anti Asian jokes were targeted against North Korea. Imperialist aggression against Asian “enemy states” is what sustains the idea of Asians as enemy aliens. “Anti-racism” without anti-imperialism is just another form of collaboration.
