you guys know in the original story lusamine isn’t irredeemable right. you guys know the only reason her being made more “redeemable” in the remakes and anime didn’t work is because it was badly written. lusamine didn’t receive character development for you to lie like this.
Lusamine was ten times better as an irredeemable cold-hearted monster before The Pokémon Company realized they made a villain too realistically evil and spent the past decade trying to rewrite her as a misguided well-intentioned anti-hero

okay i told paul this but my personal hc — gladion wears a hoodie with his undershirt over himself. it’s true that the rips in his clothes are from silvally. but i think he has a lot of scarring underneath his layers & that’s why he never takes them off even in the alolan heat.
eternally upset that gamefreak were cowards and dont give their characters scars bc logically speaking gladion should be covered in scars from the null attack. canonically the rips in his clothes are from null this dude should be way more battered than he is.
