Highly recruited kid, chose to stay home..coulda complained about not starting or playing much early on, could have had some entitlement with all the accolades he came into Norman with. But nah, he just worked, understanding he’s behind some veteran guards and another that’s likely going to be a pro..just chose to grind and star in his role, and give his team and coaches whatever is needed to contribute towinning. I tell kids all the time..you don’t have to be a kid we win “because of”..be a kid that we can “win with” …salute to this young man. Bright future ahead of him. A lot of you young players can learn a lot from his walk.

This should be applauded! Instead of playing in the Mary Nutter Classic this season in Palm Springs, Patty Gasso and OU Softball decided to schedule games at select schools in California to help make them money. “It’s trying to made the Mid-Majors some money, because they’re going to get lost in this transition and I really want to help them however I can.”

Choctaw has punched their ticket to the school’s fourth ever state final game. Choctaw is headed to the Class 6A-II state championship game at UCO on Dec. 7 where they’ll take on the winner of tonight’s Muskogee vs. Stillwater game.
