Their ego is just trying to pull you down to their suffering - waste of time. Occasionally a quick engagement can be beneficial for both, for this I usually just move over to a DM.

@benroy__ I think it’s why you see big disruption coming from younger previously unknown founders. That aversion to personal reputation risk increases the higher you climb.
