Five signs you're a (YC) founder: 1) You have one early customer still paying $12/year from your launch deal. 2) You have 3 users using your product in a random way and getting more value than your actual ICP. 2) You have one angel investor from a scout fund who doesn't reply to your emails but likes your posts on X/Linkedin. 4) Your "quick fix" from a year ago is now your core infrastructure. 5) Your pitch deck increases in emojis used per slide.

🚀🚀🚀 "Central is INCREDIBLE! In the past month they've helped us: Fix our TX employee onboarding which I had messed up Deal with a messy set of health insurance questions (due to 1 employee being in TX and the rest of us having annoying preferences) Proactively file for things l'd never even even heard of. Thank you Central for keeping things running."

Every batch, YC puts out a 'Request for Startups'. Here's my list 👇 1) CRM that ranks leads based on their LinkedIn cringe posts 2) Browser extension that automatically converts all metrics into "hockey sticks" by turning the graph upside down. 3) Social platform where all content must be written in C++. 4) NFT marketplace for abandoned startup pivots. 5) Angel investor ghosting prediction algorithm. 6) Code editor that only works if you maintain perfect posture 7) AI customer support agents that only responds with Cards Against Humanity combinations Comment your ideas below. Bad ideas only.

Thinking about changing your company's legal name? Read this first. I've seen countless startups waste weeks of work and $$$ on this. You’ll have to submit lots of paperwork and update state filings, payroll, banks, insurance, IRS and many other things. Huge pain. Fun fact: Instacart, a public YC company, still operates as Maplebear Inc. Unless you have a compelling legal reason to change your name e.g., violating someone else’s trademark or brand name, you can usually just continue to use the same legal name or consider filing a DBA name. It often doesn’t make sense to change your company’s name just because you’re doing a rebrand of the company or pivoting. DM me if you need help or have any questions. We’ve helped a ton of startups with DBA filings, etc. P.S – I’m not a lawyer and this is not legal advice. Talk to your lawyer.
