It's definitely not over... But the biggest lesson for Canada from the US tariff threat is to diversify it's trading partners ASAP It's exactly the same as being a consumer in a monopolistic environment — one player can fully dictate the prices and you are at their mercy... Finally, if Canada finds trade partners that are growing faster than the US, there is also a chance for it to catch up and outpace the rate of growth of the US economy and not always be limited by it...
