We did it!!! 4 mountains, 3 provinces, 2 crutches,1 day (ish) COMPLETE!!! I am so overwhelmed I don't really know where to begin! It has been 1 of the most humbling experiences of my life. It was also 1 of the toughest. My poor body is in bits but I'm going to bed a happy lady!❤

Part of my wound is not healing so I am confined to a chair for a few weeks to help with healing. I have had my eyes opened this week carrying out daily tasks in a wheelchair. It's not easy! Big respect to full time chair users 💗♿️

Last fitting of hip brace b4 Ottobock start on carbon fibre version.
I add a hop between steps to increase speed but find it painful. New brace will allow me 2 run/crutch 4 longer! How long?

I never used to enjoy walking on a treadmill. I always thought it was boring. This morning I walked on one for the first time with my prosthetic and I loved it! This was me just trying it out, by the end of my session I had upped the speed and upped the incline. 💗

29 breast screenings. 58 cancer counselling sessions, available to children as young as 5. 67 Complementary cancer therapy sessions and 156 Body Composition analysis appointments. Wow!

I spent a very interesting morning getting cast for a hip brace that is being custom built for me. This brace should make sitting, driving, working out, climbing & everything else that bit easier. Long road ahead before I will see the final carbon fibre version but I'm excited!

Only 2 days to go until the Donegal half marathon! I didn't sign up until last Sunday because it's fun to live on the edge lol. No idea if I will finish before the 3 hour cut off point but I know I'll have fun trying!

I'm lying in bed with a sore ankle, knee, hip and with a cold arse. Today's climb of Lavagh More (Bluestacks) helped me realise that summer is definitely over! Driving rain and gale force winds in leggings is NOT IDEAL. However it was epic!❤❤

This night last month I was in the HDU after my weird and wonderful operation. One month on and I'm out in the sunshine!
It has NOT been easy though. Especially at night. The pain is all consuming and would take your breath away. However it IS getting better. I can feel it💗

Yesterday, while climbing Muckish I did look down & the view was insane!
It was scary being so high up.....but you can't rise to the top if you're afraid to look down 💪
