Artists, what tip really blew your mind and unlocked a new dimension of improvement for you? It can be technical or more personal development oriented!
Bro i have GOT to stop obsessing over getting the smallest details in my art right when +16k people see ai art of Kafka with 3 arms and eat it up no questions asked😭
In my opinion making very stylized art that conveys emotions and storytelling well with minimum rendering and details is just as impressive as being able to draw hyperrealistic art
Bro art is such a scam you can draw your whole life but take a break for 3 days and when you come back you dont remember what primary colors were or how many joints a finger has
I respect people who use CSP bc everytime i open that program i get scared bc it looks like the inside of a spaceship to me and i immediately run back to the simple warm embrace of Procreate again
You know you're obsessed with a character/ship when you listen to literally any damn song ever and make it abt them somehow and get so excited you start pacing around the room
Those people who say "draw more Ugly people!!😤" and just mean fat people, people with big noses, scars, acne, disabilities etc don't deserve rights i think
I don't get ppl who say ships that are just a little too codependent are problematic and bad like sorry but any couple i ship has to be insane and obsessed about each other in a feral way or i'll simply fall asleep
I know ppl have their own opinions and i dont wanna dismiss their feelings but personally i cant Believe that you guys don't also giggle and kick your feet when someone goes through your media tab and enjoys your art enough to do this
When you wanna draw different characters for a change but your hyperfixation doesn't allow you to draw anyone else except for the same 2 guys over and over again
My toxic trait is that i can't make fanart for any current trends/popular media if i'm not painfully obsessed w/ them NOW. I WILL However re-discover them months/years later when they're compeletely irrelevant tho!
I've noticed there are 2 types of artists out there:
1) artists who call their OCs their children
2) artists who shamelessly lust after their OCs and desire them carnally
@a11ia_
I have no control over it like sometime in the middle of drawing i feel like my face hurts and realize its bc ive been making a dramatic expression for 2 hours without knowing😭
